Open the item you want to print, tap the Menu icon , and then tap Print. If the app you are using does not have a Print option, tap the Share icon or look for a Share option in the Export or Send menu, and then select HP Print Service Plugin or the Print icon .
On the preview screen, tap the Down arrow to view the printer list, and then select HP to print over the network, or DIRECT-xx-HP to print with Wi-Fi Direct.
Tap the Down arrow to change any print settings, such as paper size or orientation.

Use the Wi-Fi Protected Setup button on your router to connect the printer to your Wi-Fi network.
Place the printer near the Wi-Fi router.
Put the printer in WPS connection mode.
Most printers without a touchscreen control panel: Press and hold the Wireless button for five seconds or until the wireless light starts to flash.
HP Deskjet 6000 and 6400, ENVY 6000 and 6400, and Tango printers: Press and hold theWi-Fi button and the Power button on the back of the printer for five seconds until the blue bar flashes.
Within two minutes, press and hold the WPS button on the router until the connection process begins.
Wait for the Wireless light or bar on the printer to stop flashing. The printer is now connected to the network.

Two: Get The Hp Smart App
Using An Android Smartphone To Print
To print directly from an Android smartphone, the smartphone and printer can connect to the same wifi network, or CloudPrint can be used if the printer does not have connectivity.
In the first case, you must first connect the printer to the wifi and download the Plugin app for hp printing services from the Google Play Store. Opening the app should display a list from which you must select the name of your printer.
If the printer does not appear, just refresh the list by pressing the Refresh button until the device appears. On the other hand, when the device appears in the list, just select the file, then select the device, and the transmission takes place automatically. Note: these are only the instructions for printing from Android to a wifi printer, while we will talk later about how to use Cloud Print for printers without wifi connectivity, as Google makes this service available for all operating systems, and not only for android.

Set Up A Usb Printer Connection With A Built
When you connect the printer USB cable, Windows automatically installs and adds your printer to provide basic printing functionality.
Make sure there is an open USB port available directly on your computer. If you use a USB hub or docking station, the printer might not receive enough power to operate properly.
Connect the printer USB cable to the computer.
If a ‘Found new hardware’ message displays, follow any prompts to install the driver, and then send a print job to confirm the connection.
If the printer connection or print job fails, continue with these steps.
Search for and open Printers & scanners.
If your printer is in the list, select it, click Add device, and then follow the prompts to install the driver.
If you printer is not in the list, continue with these steps.
If prompted, click Windows Update, and then wait for the print drivers to finish updating.
Under Manufacturer, select HP or Hewlett Packard, and then select the name of your printer.
Disconnect then reconnect the USB cable to complete the printer setup.

Connect The Printer With The Wireless Setup Wizard
Use the Wireless Setup Wizard from the printer control panel to connect your printer to your Wi-Fi network.
Place the printer near the Wi-Fi router.
Open the Setup, Network, or Wireless settings menu, and then select Wireless Setup Wizard.
Select the name of your network, and then enter the password to complete the connection.
Note:
If the Wireless Setup Wizard is not listed, select Wi-Fi Protected Setup or WPS, select Push Button, and then follow the steps to connect to the network.
I Cannot Connect My Printer To My Phone

I got a new HP ENVY Pro 6455 printer. I installed HP Smart on my iPhone. When I try to add the printer, the screen reads:
“To get started, connect to wifi.
1) Go to your wifi setting on this mobile device and select ‘HP-Setup-…’ from the wifi network list.
2) Then, return to HP Smart to continue setup.
Note: If the blue LED light on your printer is blinking, your printer is not connected. If the blue light is solid, your printer is on the network.”
When I go to my wifi settings, no network called “HP-Setup-…” appears. The blue light on the printer is solid. I don’t know how to add my printer if it’s “on the network” or if that means I can’t connect to “HP-Setup-…”

As we have said in the previous paragraphs, it is also possible to control the printer remotely that is, without it being connected to the same network to which the smartphone is connected using the ePrint service, as long as the printer supports this service.
The ePrint service must be configured on the printer: for models without a display by connecting to the HP official help web page to configure the printers web services. Its an easy process: just enter the printer name and your IP address and then click on Activate, Continue, or Enable, depending on the model.
With models with a display, press the HP ePrint button or look for it in the Settings . Also, in this case, it is then necessary to click on Activate, Continue, or Enable, depending on the model. In models where web services are already enabled, pressing the ePrint button will open a summary page.
You can find instructions on how to use ePrint on this page. Specifically, youll find the printer address. Remote printing, thanks to ePrint, is done simply by sending an email to your printer. However, it is not possible to send more than ten attachments or exceed 10MB, nor to set two-sided or black and white printing or, again, to print more than one copy for each file.

Why Cant My Android Phone Find My Printer
Open Google Cloud Print, tap on Settings, then on Printing. If your printer is on the same WiFi network as your Android device, it should show up in the list and add itself. Then you can print from some apps by tapping the that usually indicates more options, to find and tap on the Print option.

Excellent Printer/ App Combo
I found this printer beside the freakin road in a pile of other unwanted things so I took it home and cleaned it off good and found the power cord and usb cord in plugged it in and what do you know it works perfectly. I have been needing a printer that will actually work and one that my pc will read for quite some time now..I literally have about 5 or 6 other printers that I have acquired over the years that for some reason just couldnt get installed or something was wrong n keeping me from having a working printerThis one went so smoothly it was almost too good to be truemy pc read it immediately and then it redirected me to where I could download the app on my phone and iPad which I did and also created an account.,,,everything was working so far just had to add paper and see if it would actually printwhen things appear to good to be true they usually are..but not this time! Once I added the paper , I held my breathe and what do you know it actually printed! Even with color! How To Print From An Android Device
Now that your printer is connected, you can print all the photos, web pages and documents in the world! To print a document , tap the three vertical dots in the top right corner and select Print. To print an image, tap the same three vertical dots, then scroll to the end of the horizontal menu and tap Print. Once you’re in the print menu, tap Select a printer, pick yours from the list, make any adjustments you need to in the printing options, preview the document and then tap the print icon.
