Connecting To Wireless Printer
I have always used a Mac with a wireless HP printer. Suddenly, I cannot get the printer connected to my laptop. I spent 3 hours on the phone with HP yesterday and all options were tried. They said the next thing to do is contact Xfinity.
Any suggestions would be great-have no idea why this just happened. No changes to my account have been made.

Did this ever work with your Xfinity WiFi? Is your MAC connecting to your Wifi properly? Does your printer connect to your Wifi? What errors show if any? Your MAC isn’t sending out its own Wifi signal or looking for a printer on its own Wifi connection, causing confusion is it?

Without knowing what was tried, the first thing is to make sure your printer is connected to your home WiFi network, and on the same network as your computer. Make certain your computer is on your home network, and not something like XFINITY or xfinitywifi.
If the printer supports Ethernet, consider connecting it with a cable instead of using WiFi.
