Dell V515w Will Not Connect To Computer
For me….the V515W …only worked a short time.
I’ve tried uninstalling it and reinstalling… and
it’s even more of a mess than it was before.
It will not connect to my computer.
To start with, I told the Dell advisor that I wanted no wireless devices.. I avoid them like the plague they are.
but he sold me the V515W …which is a wireless device…. and I have it connected using a USB connection..
but, of course, it won’t connect..
Printer Home will open…but nothing works on it… I click and nothing happens.
Dell tech support wants something like $200 .. Dell has some great people there..
but usually what I usually get is someone doing every thing they can to rob me…and to set things up so they can keep on robbing .. I’ll be avoiding Dell for a long, long time.

Select a Connection Method
The printer can be connected to your computer using a USB cable or an Ethernet cable. The method you select depends on how your computer is connected to the network. A USB connection is a direct connection and is the easiest to set up. An Ethernet connection is used for networking. If you are using a network connection, it is important to understand how your computer is connected to the network.

- Hardware and cabling requirements vary for the different connection methods. Routers, network hubs, network switches, modems, Ethernet cables, and USB cables are not included with your printer and must be purchased separately.
If your computer is connected to an office network or home network, use an Ethernet cable to connect the printer to a network port.
