The main requirement to setup a printer on Google Cloud is to have Google Chrome installed on your system. Before proceeding with the steps below make sure that you are signed into your Google Account, and your printer is already connected to the system and ready to print.
The main benefit of the Cloud Printing is that you can send prints from anywhere to your print, such as if you are in your School / University etc, you can logon to your Google Account on Chrome and send the print from your University to your Printer which will be printed out at your home. Theres much more you can do with it as per your requirements.
Below are the steps required to setup a Classic Printer on Google Cloud
1. After you have installed Google Chrome, open it and go to the settings by clicking on the settings icon as shown below.
2. Select Settings option, after Clicking the Settings icon from the drop down.
3. Click Show Advanced Settings, from the settings pane at the bottom.
4. Scroll down further and select the Manage option located under Google Cloud Print.
5. Click Add Printers. This will enable Cloud Printing and you will see a list of printers which are now associated with your Google Account and are ready to go Cloud.
You can add new printers and remove them as well from the Manage section under Google Cloud Print.
Registration Using Google Chrome
Start Google Chrome browser on your computer.
Select Sign in to Chrome… from .

Set Up A Classic Network
If your printer is connected to your computer via USB or a local access network, these are the instructions youll need to set up access via Google Print.
1. Launch Google Chrome on the computer attached to the same network as the printer. Make sure you are signed into your Google account within Chrome as on the Chromebook.
4. Type “cloud print” into the search field.
5. Select Manage Cloud Print devices.
6.. This will allow you to connect your Google Account to the Google Print service.
8. Select Manage Your Printers. This will take you to Google Print.
9. Select Printers from the menu on the left. Here youll see a list of printers connected to the computer you are using.
When you print something from the Chrome browser, these printers will appear as output destinations.
